St. Nicholas' Day

PORG International School St. Nicholas Day Celebrations

Monday December 6.

In the Czech tradition, December 6th is the day when St. Nicholas (or Mikoláš, as he is known here) comes to judge whether children have been good or not during the year.

He comes with and angel and a demon. The angel rewards good children with some fruit and sweets but be warned... the demon gives naughty children a piece of coal and even carries them away!

So let your children know that if they don't like coal and demons, they should behave well!
