Today was our lucky day! We had a drum session with EMONGO, two Congolese men who provided us with some amazing drumming, as well as a brief history of what life is like in the Congo. For instance did you know that in some villages there is one teacher to 150 students and that the most dangerous predator is a snake! We learned some African rhythms and got to sing and clap along. Some lucky students, and energetic teachers, got to perform some African dances with him.  We all got to release some pent up energy and have a fantastic time! We even came away with some small African souvenirs.
